Other than the UI being flashier and all, I don't see anything groundbreaking, did I?

Despite what some say, I am really looking forward to the launch of Vista.
I can honestly say that I will probably be one of the first with with a (legally purchased) retail copy of it.

I definately will be one of the first Vista purchasers. Currently i'm using questionable methods: Laptop died, had to buy new computer, couldn't afford full XP, using laptop copy on desktop + workarounds. Being a college student at a college without a good MS relationship kinda sucks.

Honestly, the visuals are rather unimpressive compared to what customizing XP can pull off.

What's under the hood is really cool though.

I might buy it, but not right away.
I think I'll wait a few months and see if there are any major issues 😉

What are you smoking?

apparently, the OSX-is-a-POS joint.. i absolutely hate everything about OSX

I had the beta for about 2 days before i deleted it, my friends friend somehow got this password to some executive company's website and allowed you to dl free Win OS ofr buisness uses. I went on it to get XP Pro for my vaio but little did i know, vista beta was in the selection as well. 🙂 Its still got alot of kinks to be worked out.

I will wait for the initial reactions to the released OS to decide.
Very happy still with XP Pro, thanks very much. (of course, thought the same of 2000 Pro)
