NEW VIRUS!!! soundmix.exe

This is the most terrible virus attack i ever had.
This soundmix.exe is UNdescribable. It runs in the background and I still don't know what it does, but I wasn't able to remove it manually and when i install an anti-virus program it detects it and then makes the windows crash. I tried with AVG and Norton but it corrupts the run32.dll file and won't let any exe program to run after it has been removed. So every time i removed the virus I had to restore my computer to a older date.
be careful. And if anyone has a solution please share.
and if your eyes are bleeding now, ask RedArmy to help you with that.

The next time people tell you you're posting in the wrong forum - pay attention.

My eyes are bleeding after reading that, however it is 1% better since you revised it.

In this situation it's better just to reformat and start over.

Hey ric1287, thanks for the suggestion. I looked it up and it has buncha programs on it.
so do you happen to know which one will fix your system dlls?

Programs included in it:

run every virus/spyware app on there. Then repair your windows installation which will re-write the windows files and hopefully get rid of the bad file

Off course posting in the off topic forum pretty much guarantees the kind of responses you have been getting. For better results this should have been posted in the Software / Security forum.

EDIT *forum forum* [DEL]

Which would be posting in the correct forum...but as it stands no matter the age or how many posts people have in Off Topic, most of us are smart enough to not execute an exe file that we don't recognize. I've had...what...no viruses in the last 10 years?

It's called being careful.

Thanks you mwmorph,ric1287 and FoboT. I'll looking into it right now.
i agree with posting it at the Software/hardware section, but , you'd recognize the processor soundmix.exe to be a virus next time if you see it in your task manger.

Pyonir; Remind me to advise you next time to be careful if you run into an accident - you needn't waste keystrokes advising or insulting me.

Stop f_cking flaming him fobot. He might've posted in the wrong forum, but he still needs some help instead of some
retard calling him out on a small mistake he made. Also, responses on ATOT are usually faster although sometimes less accurate

Try googling some software removal programs for this. Have you tried HiJackthis?
