Mkay, got my 9800 in today 🙂D) and its goin great so far, but Ive hit one snag so far. I thought Id play regular Max Payne before I tried MP2. I get into just after Max finds his wife dead, and when I try to go onto the next level, the game just closes back to the desktop. Could it be that theres some Detonator drivers still on my system that are conflicting with the Cat's? Im using the 3.7's for fear of those 3.8's.. Anyways, I ran DriverCleaner 2.0 and I thought everything went fine since I got a fairly high score on 3dmark03 (5391) No, I didnt format when I put in the card, just removed the Det's, and cleaned.

Well.. I think Im gunna format/reinstall today... got a bunch of virii, and I wanna get a fresh Catalyst install 😀 Ill report back

My 9800 with Cat 3.6's was fine with Max Payne tutorial, fresh install though (also to clean up Windows/virus' etc, and because upgraded from a Ti4400). I don't *think* you should have an issues with Max Payne (based on Cat 3.6), so I guess a reinstall might work.
