My system definitely did not like them. I was running the 4.38 drivers on my Epox KT333 board (came on the CD with the board), and everything was fine. Tired the 4.43's, but the new viaagp1.sys file my pc did not like at all. Kept getting the BSOD (in win2k), and couldn't get in to unload it. Finally did an F8 last know good install, got in, removed the 4.43's, went back to 4.38, and everything is fine. As they say, YMMV.

I wonder if there's even any change except a few minor bug fixes. Not worth to install.

Haven't tried any heavy 3D graphics work yet, but they seem to work just fine for me (Win2k Pro, VIA KT133A). No BSODs yet. (knock on wood). :)

Not worth installing drivers unless something is wrong with your computer. In fact, you're not supposed to unless there's something wrong..

Both my computers, over the last 3 years, have had Via chips, and I update the 4in1's every time a new version comes out, and I have not once had any sort of problem. I don't understand why others tend to have problems, or why these drivers have such a horrible stigma attatched to them.

Ok, the only problem I have with the new drivers is that Hotmail locks up with them, I have no idea why..but I couldn't check hotmail until i reinstalled the 4.42s

I always download the latest drivers. According to the company you shouldn't update your drivers unless there is a problem. This is nosense. Drivers aren't updated simply to fix bugs. There are performance optimizations and such that also go into new driver releases. I am about to go download them right now. Don't listen to that poo. One cannot be a true geek if he doesn't even have the latest drivers for his hardware!
