I only know 3 people with Corvettes and they are all automatic. Who pays $50k for a car that you have to shift the gears on yourself?

I would if I enjoyed drag racing and lived in an area with a lot of stop-and-go traffic.

Do you pretend your commute to and from work is a race course or something? What a bunch of posers.

Eh, the only real fault I can think of with my Mark VIII is that it wasn't available with a 5-speed. Personal preference. Better than 95% of the time I'm not driving anywhere that would make a manual fun, but for me the brief times where I can play a little bit are worth the added work of having a manual if I can. That said, I'm the last person who would say that anyone with an automatic in a sportscar is undeserving. To each his own.
