Yes, Phoenixminer is now updated to 6.0c, for those mining ETH or similar coins. Major changes include newer AMD driver support, and partial unlock of LHR limiters. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2647654.0

EDIT: I see the crazy down voters are out. Shame on them. Why don't they post something?

Anything that enables more profitability for miners is a bad thing. We need to get to the point where high-end graphics card purchases at MSRP become cost prohibitive in terms of ROI.

While I would certainly like to see better GPU prices, I don't think artificially limiting compute ability is the way to do. I personally wouldn't want a company telling me what I can and cannot compute with my CPU/GPU. That said, this is a discussion for another thread I feel. This is more an update on this particular software.

So, has anyone upgraded yet?
Why don't you try it out if you're so interested? It's a simple EXE swap, don't even need to install anything.

Let the rumors of a $400 4060 that's as fast as a 3080 destroy scalpers and overpriced storefronts everywhere. Can't wait to see a repeat of $400 2080tis except this time it would be $300 3080's lol. If that's what a 4060 is going to be with 12GB of ram, then 3080s are going to be $300 on ebay or not a single one of them will sell. Bring on the pain. Watching stores try to sell a 3080Ti for $1600 just because it has an Asus sticker on it? I'd be laughing my guts out.

Interesting analogy, since it was the people panic selling their 2080 Tis before Ampere launch that really got screwed. Anticipation was that it would get creamed by the 3070, and then it was more a tie, you had a hell of a time finding them at retail, and for a year and a half they were being sold on the secondary market for $1000. :p

I don't think most will be able to resist the urge to sell and prepare for the next gen. I can see it now: everyone sells their stuff early and the 4060 gets scalped to death and stays at 3x msrp for the entire duration of the 4000 series generation. I wouldn't be surprised if the 4000 series was completely unavailable for purchase for the entire cycle unless buying from ebay. Or, retailers will beat the scalpers to the punch and just list everything at 2-3x msrp from the start. People are stupid; they will pay $1500 for a 4060 and consider it a good day. In fact, I think that makes the most sense given people's religious fervor when it comes to GPUs. Retailers should start off high and see what people will pay, then slowly lower prices accordingly. So, a $400 RTX 4060 should be listed for $1200 on day one to see if it sells. Of course, it will evaporate off the shelves instantly so prices will then increase to $1600.
As you can see, I'm pessimistic to the point of genuine, rambling delusion.

Doubtful POS will ever happen. Way too many powerful whales pulling the strings at the top that want the status quo. If it somehow does happen, expect EtherumCamelMaxiDonkey coin to be forked to continue the mining.

And LOL @ SJWs eating themeslves. "Ethereum has made a handful of white men unfathomably rich", seemingly forgetting that pajama boy himself is a white male. o_O
