Welcome to the team. Make sure to point your client to the team pproxy so that you can check stats more often.

Welcome to the team! :) Fancy screensavers really slow you down, "blank screen" is what I use. Which project have you started... I'm guessing RC5-64 or OGR?

To set up your client for the team proxy, bring the client up in a window by double-clicking the cow icon on the taskbar. Next, right-click in the client's window and chose Configure, and then

2) Buffer and Buffer Update Options, then

6) Keyserver<->client connectivity options, then

2) Automatically select a distributed.net keyserver? ==> yes change this to "no" and then put "proxy.teamanandtech.com" into

3) Keyserver hostname ==>

Now chose the 0 options to exit the menu system and the client will be fetching and flushing to Distributed.net through our Team Proxy. You will be able to track your stats every half-hour :D at the Core Weekstats and the Core Fullstats within about an hour of your first block flushed through the Team Proxy.

If you haven't already checked your client to make sure whether it's doing OGR or RC5-64, better have a look, since it defaults to OGR and you may want RC5-64. To tell which project it's doing you would just look at the text and see if it says it's loaded an OGR stub or an RC5 packet. :)

Jator, I did a speculative execution and precached my answer. ;)

Lagster, if you change your email address then you can retire your old one into your new one. Distributed.net allows blocks to be transfered from one account to another a maximum of eight times.
