I think capturing and posting the speed at which the test was performed is a critical part of the usefulness of this data, so I'm no longer going to place scores in the list if CPU speed, in the form of a screenshot, is missing. Since Cinebench does not typically report CPU speed accurately, an app like CPU-Z, AIDA64, or equivalent must be used.

Soon, I'm going to delete scores from these users for which acceptable CPU speed data was never posted, unless or until we hear from them:

Basilownzyou ____i7-4930K ____________ ????GHz | 13.97
moonbogg________ i7-3930K ____________ ????GHz | 12.91
APU_Fusion _____ i7-4790K ____________ ????GHz | 10.65
jj109 __________ i7-4770K ____________ ????GHz | 9.03
aigomorla ______ Xeon L5520 __________ ????GHz | 7.73

I'm going to get a window fan now! ():) Throttling 4 cores..

Edit.. nope, you're safe. Just don't have the cooling to do it, even with a window fan on it. Need liquid cool

On a side note. the SaberTooth is badass.. whatever chip you get, it will wring it out.. Watching cores throttle, never a blue screen. :)

Lol, I know it's killing you, just five measly points. I felt the same way back when I was just two points shy of 20k in Firestrike with the 3930k and two 780s.

Serious BIOS issues prevented me from completely wringing this thing out, ultimately a pretty disappointing showing.

I still couldn't be on top but the one I have listed is an old chip.

Hadn't messed with this bench in awhile :)

How do you figure that? A 65 watt quad core CPU, besting an L5639 Hex-core @ 140-150 watts is a pretty disappointing showing?

I don't think so..

Sure performance per watt... but Crashtech held the quad core record with his DC at 5G for a 10.97! So it's an upgrade that isn't the upgrade he hoped for. But, he is a generous uncle tho.

Please run single threaded as well as this will also show the multiplier.
(how much of the computing speed gets lost when running all cores compared to just one)

As requested. Note that for the multi benchmark it hovers between 4781 and 4784.
For the single benchmark it jumps between 478x and 488x

Mah Window Home Server! C2Q Q8400S@2.66GHz (HP EX495 w/ upgraded cpu/memory WHS2011)
Sure is a cool running little chip to be passively cooled.

My daily driver Gateway FX-8020 with Xeon X3230 (also passive) just won't die. 8 yrs & counting @ 24 X 7 uptime..

My little mini-itx HTPC @4.7GHz. I think this is about all I'll get out of it, I did manage to get a successful run at 4.8GHz immediately afterwards but it's using a keyboard with a built in touchpad and like an idiot I accidently touched the pad and started another run which crashed. It wasn't much higher anyway (4.33) as the indicated speeds according to cpu-z were bouncing around a bit between ~4690 and 4800, not sure why. Obviously not stable anyway.

I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but I'm really happy with this 6600K. It's a decent overclocker and just feels FAST. It's been a long time since a straight quad core has been in my gaming rig, since SB I've always had an i7. Couldn't find a 6700K at the time, and the plan was to swap this 6600K out as soon as the i7 becomes more available, but this i5 performs so well, I might not bother.
