new type of CD copy protection?

i bought warlords battlecry2 yesterday and tried to copy for multiplayer play. the whole process was a waste and i kept on getting "failed to read sector.." every step. i used clonecd ver3.3.4.1, LG collins 24x cdrw, Imation 24x (riteks i think), and a lieton 16x dvd-rom drive. i never got errors while copying SD protected cds (ss2:se, MOHAA?) and am wondering what kind of protection WBCII uses and what i need to break it. thanks.

These kinds of threads are frowned upon at Anandtech. Copying cds like that for multiplay probably violates the license, and information like this can be used for piracy. So please edit your post before it gets locked

warlords battlecry2 has safedisc Version2 copy protection, same as Mohaa..

//edit Mohaa has safedisc Version 2.51.021..
