New Transmetta Proc

Hey guys, have you heard about that new Transmetta processor, it seems pretty cool

It sounds very promising. Granted they tested it against a Sony GRX, which in all the benchmarks I've seen, it tends to have sub-par performance.

Plus they didn't give any details of either test system, the Transmetta unit may have had a gig of ram while the Sony may have had 64MB.

But either way, it sure sounds faster than any other ultra low power CPU currently available.

Transmeta is a joke. Just because they have Linus Torvald, there was this big hoopla over Transmeta. Too bad they can't make any competing products.
