I am trying to think of something I would rather do less than go see this piece of shit. Maybe I'll book a dentist appointment for opening night since I know that will be more enjoyable than another Transformers movie.

you could always go post in threads about topics you have no interest in...

OH WAIT!

Maybe you should jack off to an Aronofsky movie.

Or maybe I'll just watch something coherent and fun. I'd rather re-watch Thor than see Transformers; Thor had a lot of problems, but at least it was not incoherent and completely dumb.

I have an interest in films, all kinds of films. I'm not allowed to voice my displeasure for a film franchise I dislike? Sorry boss, I was not aware.

I may watch when it comes on TBS/TNT/USA. I'm not going to go out of my way to pay for it. I'd rather watch movies like Citizen Kain, Donnie Darko, and The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Sex and violence are cool, but beating up nerds and fucking are free, no need to pay for it. 😛

well you are calling a movie shit that you haven't even seen yet and isn't even out... just sounds ignorant.

With the director, actors, and previous films, it's a pretty safe bet.

This, plus the fact I have watched the trailer more than once and have heard/read all kinds of discussion on it. It's not as if it is a brand new, one off film; there is a history to it and I know a lot about it.

Call me ignorant all you want, but I have plenty of background information on this movie and as such I stand by my post.

KeithT is from Canada so it's clear he hates awesomeness.

While I can seem to turn my brain off for pretty explosions and robots fighting I can understand why people wouldn't like the transformers movies. Heck - if I think about the movie too much I start to dislike it.

And while it is a pretty safe bet that the film will be along the same lines as the previous ones, sometimes you get a suprise. Fast 5 did much better than I thought it would and I am actually considering seeing it
