Nah, it was first in my list but I couldn't find a good deal as they are extremely high in demand and the insurance rates are much higher because they're major theft targets and it's RWD. The 325xi is considered low risk by insurance companies.

Yea kinda hard to steal a car when it is in the shop/broken down. 😛

You know how to work on cars?

It looks great except for that big white rectangle on the front bumper/grill. 😛

Nice 'New-To-You' car man! Congrats!

BTW-Tan interior is difficult to keep looking clean. You'll be replacing floor mats every year. My wife's Lexus has a tan interior and it's a bitch to keep the carpets looking nice and this is in SoCal. If you live where it snows it will be much worse.

No but I have the dealer for real issues and it certainly wasn't cheap. One thing I did myself so far was pop the hood and top off the wiper fluid 😛 Gotta learn somewhere.

Anyway it's mostly a weekend getaway car so it won't get much street abuse and I'm not really into mods. I've been kidding around about the whole big chrome wheels thing. The floor mat is black and the leather material doesn't seem like it'll get that dirty easily so I'm not too worried. The exterior does seem like it'll need frequent washing though. I had it done yesterday and now it's in the garage for most of the week.

I think the only 'mod' I want to do is add an Aux input for the iPod. It has the business CD player so it should have an Aux port. One thing I'm not sure about currently is whether it can play MP3s or not.

Leather won't be much of an issue. Carpets on the other hand...

Black floor mats hide a multitude of sins though.

Currently it's got 16" rims and the suspension is soft so it's not as sporty feeling as I like it to be. Would changing the rims alone to 18" give me a sportier feel or would I have to change the suspension too? I'd still like to keep some comfort level as I don't want to rattle my teeth everytime I hit a small bump.

The Xis do not come with sports suspension. Getting betters will help but you will need to upgrade the suspension to get rid of the softness.

Yes, you'll need to get better tires and upgrade the suspension.
