Toys are fun. I am still enjoying the newness of my toy! ALMOST through the break-on period. My gas mileage has been surprisingly good because I've only ever had cars in which you're forced to drive like a grandpa, so I'm used to driving like that. I'm starting to eat up some more gas now that I'm used to the car!

'09 328i for me!

Nice. I wanted the RWD coupe but since I don't have too much winter driving experience I thought I should stick with the AWD with all season tires. I'm a bit surprised by the fuel efficiency as well. I think I'm getting about 430miles on the tank but I was expecting something like <300miles.

you must really baby your car, thats what like 26mpg?

I had a Z4 2.5i which is the same engine in a lighter car and I had to drive that thing like an old lady to get 26mpg (my highest ever). I think I averaged something like 23-24.

now down to 22.5 in my Boxster

I drive on the highway mostly, but can get that too. In the city it's MUCH worse (like 25-30% worse).

Nah, it was first in my list but I couldn't find a good deal as they are extremely high in demand and the insurance rates are much higher because they're major theft targets and it's RWD. The 325xi is considered low risk by insurance companies.

So you paid insurance on a car you didn't have?

That is ridiculously expensive, you should shop around.

State Farm was the only company that had lower prices but I didn't think their policies were nearly as good as Geico. Happy right now so it's OK. I'm a pretty new driver too so that doesn't help.

Why didn't you get the g35x. My rates are a low lower then most. Its cheaper to insure my 2005 g35x then my 98 nissan maxima. same coverage and everything. But if you got it, not way in hell will get you 430miles on a tank.

I baby and drive all highway best i can do was 360 miles on a tank, normally getting 300 on a tank which is like 17-18mpg mainly highway.

No pictures of said 325x... are you still drunk =)

har. I'll take pics today. I just didn't like the way the G35x looked and yea, it wouldn't have given me the mileage of the 325xi although it would be a lot faster overall.
