New toy

The wife and I went and picked up a new toy today. Picked up a Nikon D50 and basic lens to use while learning. I also signed us up for some photography classes so all the features and potential lenses don't go to waste.

Just thought I drop a quick blog post here.

A little disappointed in the kit lens however. Canon's kit lens is much better...

The kit lens seems to be a decent starter lens though. I'm really looking forward to the photography classes.

Ok, after playing with the camera for a bit last night...I have determined that I don't know anything about photography. I'm really glad we signed up for photography classes now.
