new to the board... and could use a little help with my new toy

Hello!

I'm new to the board, and would like to thank anyone who has ever submitted a "Hot Deal." After just one day, I have to declare myself officially addicted to that forum. I have a feeling that I won't be able to pay off my credit card bill this month as a result... but that's okay.

I noticed some other people had pictures... so here are some of me and one of the girls in my hall (who just don't understand the attraction of a $23.97 Kodak DVC325 webcam):

Speaking of webcams, I received my new toy in the mail today and am playing around with it right now. I keep getting a "USB" error when I try to install the appropriate software... if anyone has any idea how this can be remedied, I'd really appreciate it! Thank you very much! (btw, I'm also looking for a summer internship right now... I have 6 years of webpage design experience and would love to work for a Fortune 500 company if anyone has any advice or info, please feel free to PM me!)

ArkAoss ~ Hey, I'm a nerd... and proud of it! MIT didn't like my undergrad app, but I'm going to try again in another year when grad school application deadlines start rolling around...

Viper GTS ~ I'll keep that in mind, thanks. I hope some intership opportunities pop up... only 12 "potential employers" have checked me out on monster.com As for not getting out very often... I'm pretty much stuck here in Snowville (we were hit with about 2 feet last night) until Spring Break... then it's off to Florida, yay!

Well, since you're new... generally this isn't the best place to ask tech support questions. OT generally produces alot of jokers. Peripherals would be a good one to post for.

But yeah, check to make sure USB is enabled.

Which college? My sister was accepted to Sarah Lawrence but with my brother in law school at the time the price was too steep. So, she went to Goucher University instead. I think they eventually went co-ed, but I could be wrong.
