this is my first time on this site. I just wanted to let everyone know that I am an angry person most of the time due to my husband always getting his way and never letting me do things I need to do to not be such an angry person. I tried a lot to get him to freakin listen but nothing ever works cause he's so selfish. anyone have any ideas? and no, i won't go to oprah or maury so don't be mean and tell me this topic shouldn't be on here. I have seen people ask for opinions on what to wear and stupid stuff like that ....

---

momsmad,

Thanks for sharing, but please take your domestic squabbles to Oprah or Maury or to an appropriate aol chatroom.

Thank you.

My first suggestion is to find a more appropriate venue than a computer hardware enthusiast's off-topic forum. A marriage counselor's office might do nicely.

1. marriage counseling (sp)
2. No kids? then Divorce. Life is too short to be that angry.

edit: My wife and I found a solution to this problem. We just don't listen to each other. We've been married 7 years and together 15.

  • You could go to school for self improvement that will provide a higher sense of self-worth.
  • focus on improved self-control
  • Find some activity that absorbs your interest and allows you to feel like you have accomplished something

I told you, I'm the MAN. You signed the contract before we married, you knew the terms and conditions. None of my other wives complain, and I manage to divide my attention and resources evenly between you all.

Your husband sounds cool. Any chance of getting him to register and you making us all sandwiches?

I'd tell her to get back to selling Tupperware!

Except that this thread was made before Reel's thread.
