I finally got a new daily driver, after having to drive my Caddy daily (fun but expensive) for the last few months while deciding on what I wanted to get to replace my dead Ford. I now own a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. The GTP makes all the difference! The supercharged L67 is a great motor. While the interior quality leaves something to be desired, it has a ton of toys and gadgets for a 9 year old car (It even has a HUD) and is a blast to drive.

I just got this car today and haven't had a chance to clean her up or take pics yet, but shes metallic forest green, and a 4 dr, looks similar to this: http://www.canadiandriver.com/...01grandprix_gtp_se.jpg

I had a 97 Grand Prix GT loaded except the HUD and it was an awesome car. For some odd stupid reason I traded it in for a Ford Contour SE...DOH! The Grand Prix had lots of power (at least for me) and was just fun to drive. Torque steer sucked and the suspension was a little soft, but other than that I loved driving it. Especially with the moonroof open and the windows down pumping out some tunes. That car cleaned up well too. Spend a couple hours shining the wheels and waxing the body would just make it sparkle. Hope you enjoy it!

The family rented a GT once from about the same year. The suspension was so soft that 4 slender adults and luggage had it bottoming out on anything larger than a pebble. Even our 94 civic could carry that load without issue. The civic was actually more comfortable, too, and had beefier interior trim. Let's just say the Grand Prix didn't make too good an impression on me.
