How in the world were you able to get so close for your zoo pics? The above says it was taken at 55mm. That's crazy close.

Some amazing pictures man. I decided to look up the camera, because I want to take some nice pictures too. 🙂

Nikon D90 --> $1300.00. :|

I'll pass.

The OP uses the D90 for only some of the photos. He uses the much cheaper D40 in others. The D40 only costs ~$400 and while it lacks some very nice features of the D90, it is more than capable of yielding great photos.

But recognize the camera and the lenses are just tools. Just because it can yield good photos doesn't mean you'll get good photos out of it. Similarly, a pencil and paper can yield a literary masterpiece, but there's clearly more to it than the equipment.

How long have you been doing photography?

Don't think you're a newbie.

Those pics are nice...meaning done by somebody with experience.😉

you should make a dual 2560x1024 using that guitar somehow.. I'd love a guitar wallpaper but I can't find any good ones that span 2 screens properly. Maybe the neck/headstock stretching across?

Sure I'll make one for you asap. You can contact me at Tyl3n0L@hotmail.com

thanks

Ok here we go. It's really not that great. If you have any request or comment send me an email.

nice work on the pics. I really am not a fan of flickr and their provided method of browsing though.
