new Ti4200 not showing up in display properties

Just built a new rig and i'm working out the bugs. a7n8x, xp2200+, winXP, GF4 Ti4200 128mb. Anyway when i go into control panel, display, settings, advanced, adapter, properties....all the adapter info says unavailable, like chip type, DAC type, memory size, bios. Nothing anywhere here says Gainward or (more likely) nvidia or Ti4200. Shouldn't it? If I then hit properties it says manuf. unknown. This doesnt sound right. Anybody run into the same thing. I started poking around here cuz I thought maybe i had a monitor (refresh rate) or vid card prob cuz brand new Logitech Navigator Duo (cordless keyboard & optical mouse) has mouse prob. Scroll feature works sucky. slow and choppy.

I'm guessing you haven't installed the drivers yet. Go to nvidia's website and download their latest drivers. Once you do that, you should see the right stuff. But if you already have drivers installed, then I really can't say.
