Question New threadrippers?

Any idea on next release date for new threadrippers, or are we done for this year? I’m seriously considering making my own cloud, used primarily for gaming/development. I’m going to be benchmarking the 2 and 3 series, but would like to know if anything is coming around the corner?
 
You mean the 24,32 and 64 core threadrippers ? They are out, and have been out for weeks, maybe months. Here is the 64 core one:

No, I'm aware of those. I'll be picking a few up. I'm just curious if this is the last cycle for this year. Meaning, will there be new threadrippers late in the year?

I have not heard anything about any 4000 series cpus from AMD , as far a a real release date. And threadrippers are always last.
 
Ryzen 4000 series expected no earlier than 2H 2020... would place TR 4000 launch in Q4 2020 at earliest if previous cadence holds.

In other words....You'll have plenty of time to thoroughly benchmark the 2nd and 3rd series while you patiently await their arrival.

Zen3 I'd guess some time in October +/- a month. TR4 will likely hit very late 2020 or, if you wanted my actual bet, early 2021.

There's always going to be something around the corner, but I'd bet you have at least 10 months before the new TR4 comes out.

There is no evidence to suggest that Zen 3 will be any later than July. It would not surprise me if they did a 7/7 launch again.

There's similarly no evidence that it will be any earlier than October. I believe Papermaster said they're on a 12-18 month cadence but are targeting product release before holiday season. Either of us could be correct based on his statements.
