Hey guys, I'm going to create a new website that has tech related, computer modding, Motherboards, reviews, forums, CASE GALLErIES! I was wondering if anyone would like to VOLUNTEer to help out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

of course, we're not off the ground yet, but I could use people that have ambition to do such join my site....

With so many tech sites out there, having plenty of sites wont set you out amongst the crowd. Good reviews done by devoted members do it.

its hard starting up a new tech site, i've been there. If u keep goin at it and ignore what ppl say, most of the time u'll succeed. Here's a bump for ya, if u need any ideas or anything...shoot me a pm or something. Be glad to give some thoughts or suggestions. good luck.

There are a lotta tech sites on the web already, it'd be really hard for you to make your presence known, however, if you've got the information, the staff, the layout, the content then you might have a chance. It's all up to you and your choices.

You need to develop a compelling &quot;mission statement&quot;. There are tons of tech sites on the web already...what are you going to present that will differentiate your site and drive traffic? Why should people leave AT?

I'd like to help you out, but right now I'm gonna dedicate myself to Java and the Gym.


However, if you'd like a simple java applet, such as a newscroller, a navitation bar or something like that, message me.


a word of advice: make sure you site is as unique and original as possible, otherwise when you build it, they won't come.

Don't even bother trying, there's no way you can compete with HardOCP, Anandtech, ZDNet now, although I bet you can make a little $$ off of it though. Repost this topic when you have a layout and some content, you'll have better luck.

MrCodeDude: There is absolutely no way to make money from a tech site right now. I haven't seen a paying ad on the forums today, just the default banner trying to get me to buy advertising.

Unless you have enough traffic to get people to buy T-Shirts and such, or you can sell premium member status like Ars is trying to do, you'll be lucky to break even.

Anyways, there's nothing wrong with forming a site on a forum... though the people at T3D are usually more receptive.
