Its been a couple weeks and i took some pics of my tattoo after it healed...
got it done at Rising Dragon in NYC when Horisei visited from Japan for a couple of days at the end of January. i was really fortunate to get someone so gifted to do the tattoo for me. he won the first prize at the 2003 tattoo convention in NYC.
its inspired by my incredible passion/interest in japan. the characters towards the bottom mean "God is one" (I'm sikh).
the total time for the tatto was 4.5 hours (all needle time). it fvcking hurt like hell (my other one didn't hurt nearly as much - but it took less than 1 hour).
i probably won't get another tattoo (partly because of the pain but mostly because i dont think there's anythign else i want to get).
what do y'all think?
