classic response, tats dont actually hurt (if your not a big pussy) they just get annoying if you have a big project that your working on, with all the buzzing from the gun etc....😀

I have tats on the backs of both of my arms. Wasn't really aware it was odd until the tattoo artist told me she cried the entire time her artist was on the back of her arms. I didn't think it really hurt that bad, until they went over a spot for the 2nd or 3rd time filling it in. The endorphin rush when you're done is amazing.

got it done at Rising Dragon in NYC when Horisei visited from Japan for a couple of days at the end of January. i was really fortunate to get someone so gifted to do the tattoo for me. he won the first prize at the 2003 tattoo convention in NYC.

its inspired by my incredible passion/interest in japan. the characters towards the bottom mean "God is one" (I'm sikh).

the total time for the tatto was 4.5 hours (all needle time). it fvcking hurt like hell (my other one didn't hurt nearly as much - but it took less than 1 hour).

i probably won't get another tattoo (partly because of the pain but mostly because i dont think there's anythign else i want to get).

what do y'all think?

Wow....it ain't a small one.

I like it. I think I would have done color, personally, but that's me. Very nice nonetheless.
 
thats a sick tattoo, nice work by the artist. I was thinking of getting a dragon tattood wrapping around my forearm, but im not sure if i want something that would be so easily visible in the work place.
