new tank of gas, still rough idle/death at times

when I'm driving around I have a rough idle and sometimes stall, such as at a light unless I keep feathering the throttle to keep it alive. Does not always stall. Drives fine otherwise.
I just pulled over to post this and look into some PIDs (check engine light did come on when stalled)

what sort of things could this be?
last tank of gas was really low milage, like 23mpg--usually 26-30, but I have been running the AC more and driving crazy.

going to look around some more and check PIDs but thoughts are welcome.

or warnings. idk if garage should allow general stuff that should be asked of a mechanic.

oh right. 2008 camry engine in a 2006 rebuilt scion tc

wow lots to check!!!

got some Sea Foam spray and will use that soon, and clean the throttle body plate.

no codes

can I rule any of these out based on steady, clean acceleration simply occassional rough idle/stall (particularly after driving when at stop light-- sitting in parking lot rough idle seems to go away after 30 seconds)?

I want to get the steering rack centered first, am I OK to drive (at non-idle speeds feels completely fine, no lurching, hesitation, etc) until I get around to this?

IAC valve, if it has one?
no IAC all controlled electrically by ECU. TB has hole in it for idle air passage.

I have vacuum reading via OBD2 port, how much variance in "pressure" during rough idle would be sufficient for diagnosis?
