Starting October 20th:

$70 Unlimited Talk & Text with 2 GB of Data (includes picture and video messaging)

$50 Unlimited Talk & Text with 100 MB of Data (includes picture and video messaging)

$30 1500 Talk & Text with 30 MB of Data (use any combination of minutes or messages up to 1500

Also $0.10/minute Pay-as-you-Go

In addition, optional data "bucket" options:

$10 gives you 100MB of access over 7 days, or whichever comes first
$30 gives you 300MB of access over 30 days, or whichever comes first
$50 gives you 1 GB of data over 30 days, or whichever comes first

And finally... they will be changing their data "pass" from $0.99/hour to $1.49/day.

Prices are pretty much in line with AT&T and VZW, but depending on the restrictions of the data pass option, $0.10/minute + $1.49/day data sounds like an exciting option.

After trying to use Page plus with a 50mb limit, TMobile's gonna make bank with overages on those limited data plans.

It's funny how this pricing structure fits in around Simple Mobile's $60 unlimited talk&messaging with 1gb data on T-Mo's network.

(Yeah, they call it "unlimited everything" but it's a 1gb cap. They also have the same $50 deal as above.)

How about 300 minutes, unlimited text and data for $25/month? You can find that on Virgin Mobile.

Course, you only have a few relatively shitty(*) phones to choose from. But hey, can't have everything, right?

* -- even though it's a Downs phone (dumbphone further retarded by VM firmware) I love my LG Tumor Ouch er Rumor Touch. Backlit slider keyboard and all the important IM features, light and small form factor, decent battery life. I'll take that over a pocket desktop any day.

Can't you get Tmobile's regular plans w/o a contract? I'd rather do the unlimited talk/text/web for $80/month and not worry about getting screwed on a data overage charge.

While it's nothing but a wild rumor at this point, every month or so I hear about how Page Plus is going to introduce a data plan, or increase the data allowance on their 2 pre paid plans. I'd orgasm if they came out with a data plan where I could get 500 megs for $10 a month. Rumor or not I haven't heard anything about potential pricing. But I believe sooner or later they definitely will step up on the data front. Only giving 50mb right now is WTF status.

And you get sprint's network, with NO roaming. Very small footprint.

And of course they give you unlimited data cause with the crappy phone selection that you have, how much data are you able to use.

Actually, I just got a Samsung Intercept on Virgin. It may only have a v11 @ 800mhz, and no GPU, along with rev. 0 3g, but it is an android phone, and it is pretty easy to enable tethering on it, so i'd hesitate to say too many bad things given the price.
