I'm ready to order(finally!) TOMORROW and I've got a pretty good idea in my head as to what I want..but I'm interested in you guys' opinions.

cxi and cse are some kind of reseller indicators. Example: You might see Best Buy carrying the cxi and Sams Wholesale carrying the cse. But I don't think its that straight forward, I think it goes deeper and has more to do with thier status as a reseller. To you cxi and cse don't mean a damn thing.

Don't know the price on that MEM, but I'll bet its up there. Have you thought of the Kingmax 150 stuff. It's supposedly rated at cas3, but I haven't heard of anyone that isn't getting 150 cas2 (133 cas2 myself)

Mitsumi makes almost every floppy on the planet, probably even makes the Sony branded ones, don't worry about names on floppies, go for the cheapest.

SB Platinum: Do you really need that extra plug setup? The Value version is the same card, minus the connection riser. Infact, you can build your own connector and save 2/3s of the price.

Don't know about the noise from that Alpha, but I am impressed with my taisol. Very cheap, very cool (temp wise), and very quite (my favorite part about it).

Hmmm well I bought the monitor and case and a couple other things already so I'm not sure the FINAL tally..but I'm guessing around 3300....but I'll do a exact tally tonight.
