New system, resetting in Warcraft III

I just put this system together today, and I haven't updated the BIOS yet. It's a XP1700 on a Asus A7N266-VM nforce220. I'm typing on it right now. The problem is that it's resetting sometimes when Warcraft is loaded up. But not when I'm doing anything else. All the drivers are up to date. And it's not Warcraft overheating the CPU, because the temps are perfectly fine. Any ideas? Thanks.

if its a new system.. it may be a memory problem.

is anything overclocked?

I built my new system 1.5 months ago, and had some lockups and reboots.. usually under severe stress of something like UT2k3... but after I RMAed my memory and got a replacement from Newegg things have been much better.

I was having similar trouble on my comp playing WC3, random restarts and such. I was using a 3yr old install off Win98, so init I thought it was the OS (my comp "was" an oc'd coppermine celly on a BX, the king of stability.) Turned out it my proc was dying, and eventually stopped posting. However, my GF also had lots of lockups w/ WC3 on her new P4/845 system, also win98, so its not necc a hardware issue.

==> I think WC3 is just buggy. Lots of people have been having this trouble, all with diff setups. Check out this site --> :| in the tech section and you'll see many threads like yours. Whatever is wrong, its really annoying, Bnet sucks when you crash every other battle.

Nvidia just put out new drivers for nforce motherboards, which is what I'm using. That seemed to help a lot. It's running just about normally.
