New System Recommendations

I'm thinking of getting a new system. Right now I'm using the following:

-Abit BX6rev2
-Celeron 433
-Voodoo2 3000 AGP
-128MB Generic PC100 SDRAM
-Diamond Monster MX300
-D-Link 10/100 NIC
-Motorola SURFboard cable modem

I am thinking of getting a new comp and networking the 2 into my cable so I can go on one when the other is in use. I'm a big gamer, and the new comp would be all gaming, and old comp would be MP3s, burning, and typing when not used durning LAN parties. I think I can squeeze another month or 2 out of this comp, but I was wondering if it would be smart to upgrade now with a Duron or maybe a T-bird and overclock them with PC133 SDRAM. Or if I should wait a few months and go with a T-Bird and DDR SDRAM once it's more common. Let me know what you all would do in my situation.

Yeah, that's what I was kinda getting at nickburns. I don't want to get DDR RAM now since it isnt mature like parts are now. I would wait until it's stable, etc. So, the performance difference on it isn't that large to pay the extra money for?

Tell ya what, wait for the KT133A chipsets, and overclock those Durons/Tbirds to 133MHz front side bus with ease, plus they use PC133.

Yup, here's another vote for that route. Last month I made the decision to ditch DDR and started acquiring parts for my new computer (project: DC-1).

Are you sure it wouldn't be smarter to wait for DDR? When do you think DDR and DDR mobos will be pretty stable and common? I have to decide between a new comp or 2 new subs for my car first and waiting on comp hehe, so I'm very thankful for your recommendations.
