New system reboots by itself at times

OK I built a P4 3gig 800 on an Intel D875PBZ, and went through the usual headaches. Installed Windows XP and got it all configured with no errors. I use Active Monitor and all temps and voltages are fine. Just every so often it reboots with no error message, or events logged. Suggestions?

what powersupply? or either run memtest to test for bad ram but most offen its maybe the psu is power hungry for the cpu :wine:

suggest you uncheck automatically restart in system properties>advanced>startup & recovery>settings.
this will give you the best chance for you to see the error message if there's one!

Thank you for all of the suggestions. The PSU is a Enermax EG451VP (E) .. I had to tweak the memory settings because I have Kingston HyperX 3200 ddr, I'll try moving those and changing the setting to get an error message.

I turned off the auto reboot, and got errors in about any program that I used for a while. The one blue screen I got said:
STOP 0X0000008E (0XC0000005,0XBF8B4E3C,0XEDBCF1DB,0X00000000)
win32k.sys - Address BF8B4E3C base at BF800000, Datestamp 3db8d462
I also found this at Kingston: "The default SPD timings on the HyperX KHX3200/xxx modules are too aggressive for the motherboard. There are two possible resolutions: Enter the BIOS setup screen for your PC or motherboard and check whether you can change the memory timings. If you can change the memory timings, you need to change the following parameter: RAS-to-CAS (also called RAS-to-CAS Delay or tRCD) to 3 If your BIOS setup does not allow you to change memory timings, then please use the solution below. Please use Kingston's KHX3200A/256 and KHX3200A/512 memory modules instead. Their timings are verified by Kingston engineers to be compatible with i865 or i875 motherboards."
