New System Problems

I am having trouble trying to get a signal to my monitor. THis is a new system with a 1900 XP and a GeForce 3 visiontek card. I have reseated my DDR memory and my video card numerous times. There is power to the MB and the drives. The chipset fan and the CPU fan are ll running. When I turn it on it will power up, but nothing beyond that. I have used Win 98 startup disk and MaxBlast startup disk.
All my IDE cables have been put in correctly and my floppy cable. I am stumped? I took the Dr. Thermal fan off the processor and the processor looked fine (no visable damage) Reaplied the Arctic Silver paste and reinstalled.
I need help??

heres what i'd do..

take everything out and unhook the drives.. leave the video and a stick of ram in. try that and see if it works. if it does start adding stuff back in one at a time.. maybe something is conflicting...
