Help! I just finished putting a new system together. Everything started up and worked fine and dandy for about 20 minutes. I had been going through the BIOS settings and checking them rebooting after each section.

At one point I powered down and when I pushed the power button the system started to boot for about 10 seconds and the the power shut down. I hit the button again and boot-up started again for about 5 seconds. pressed the button again and nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch. I tried all the connections, etc.

Any ideas here? PS, Mobo?

BTW - CPU temp was at 31C (105F) when I last shut it down.

System:
MSI K7T pro2A
Duron 700 (Fan and HS installed)
SDRAM PC100 64MB (PC133 still back ordered.)
2X AGP video
WD 30gig ATA100
Creative CD-RW

If absolutely nothing happens then it very well could be your power supply. Do the power supply fans work?

Doh! After taking it back to PCClub (Who I now hate BTW) where I bought it and trying out a new PS and Mobo. It turned out to the be the lousy switch in the front panel. New switch is in and everything working again.

Thanks for the help.
