New system need some reviews

Hey all first post yay.

OK to business, I'm building a budget Q6600 G0 box with my bonus and would like some input.

Specs determined so far:

Q6600 G0 revision
Gigabyte GA-P35T-DQ6
Crucial Ballistix 8500 2 gigs to start with
OCZ GameXStream 700W PSU
Diamond Radeon 2900 HD (already running it)
thinking of wrapping it up in a Thermaltake Soprano DX VE7000BNS black of course
maybe an antec 900 for the airflow bonuses

My budget is around 1500 CDN and I'm sitting around 1000 with those items from NCIX.com

what I need is a good heatsink for eventual overclocking, a lot of people are going on about the same ones, at first glance I was thinking about this scythe ninja rev b

Welcome to anandtech. The Scythe Ninja is a great cooler, especially for what it sells for now, but it isn't as good as either the Tuniq Tower 120 or the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme. It does cool better than the Zalman 9500/9700, the Scythe Infinity, and other well-known heatsinks, though. It seems to be good for up to ~3.0-3.1 Ghz, with a Q6600.
