New System CPU Temp?

I just built a new P4-3.4ghz system and my bios is telling me the CPU is at 72.5c/162.5f

Is this too hot? I'm using the fan supplied with my processor.

The heatsink/fan wasn't too easy to install. But I believe it is seated tight.

Yep it's too hot. Idling between 72-75C. Won't even let me start XP install before shutting off.

Any Suggestions???
