I'd use w2k, but thats just me... Win ME is fine for most uses.

I'm seeing two MOBO's in there, so i'm assuming you want a openion on the two?
Well i have none, don't have either board, and not sure if the t-bird benefits from ddr.

for the ddr ram go to crucial.com for ddr ram that is $62 per 256 meg stick. change the monitor to a samsung 900nf

oh yeah and don't get onboard sound on the mobo, and get a dvd drive, and why not go with an enermax power supply?? where are you getting these prices because some of them seem a little high

Prices are from essential. Note well taken on memory from Crucial. Why DVD? I have Home Theater system in the next room... I don't mind a DVD, just not sure why I need it, help me justify it.

I don't know much about power supplies, where should I buy one, what should I buy?

Any better ideas? what about MB?

Thanks for comments, I'm getting this baby on order this week. As I said in earlier posts, I'm building a second box for a freind, that will be a cost reduced version of what I buy.

I think the monitor would let the system down.....if you can afford it, perhaps go for a Sony or an LG...a nice flat screen that will do your system justice 🙂

I think that the msi k7 master is not a bad mobo for ddr support
