Want to build a new system. Money is not a big problem. I want to build a system with good quality componets. Componets I"m thinging about to start are:
E6700 Processor
Corair 650 or PC Power & Colling 750 I beleive it is.PSU
8800GTX
At least 2 gigs of ram
Already have a new 150 Gig Raptor
Not interested in Cross Fire or SLI
XP Pro for now later going to Vista Home Premiem
Maybe some OCing
Want to build in the most expandability I can.
This system will mainly be used to Game and for Photography work. I am big into Flight Simulators.
Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance!!🙂

First unless you have to buy now (ie your old machine is dead) I would hold off for a few weeks until r600 is out (as at the very least it will likely cause the 8800gtx price to drop a little). Pc power and cooling makes great power supplies but the 750 one is made by seasonic (to pc power and coolings designs) so while it is among their quietest psu's (and if I was building now it is probably the one I would buy) it probably doesnt quite have the same advantages that some of their other units do (especially there 1kw ones). If you are going to overclock then I wouldn't bother with the e6700 either get an e6600 and a better cooling unit (high end air or water...) or go up to a quad core (supposedly the 2.4ghz quad is going to be around $500 by may). If you are sticking with the 8800 (and maybe even if you go with the r600) you might want to consider a 680i board as they overclock very nicely and tend to have the most expandability (usb,sata,pcie...). Also for expandability getting a high quality full tower is best if you want room for lots of drives and watercooling.

Looking at Asus P5W DH, GA965P DQ6 rev3 or maybe Asus Comando for Boards. Also considering Muskin Ram. I will probaly go with the PC Power & Cooling 750🙂
