new system advice- sempron with alot of ram

hello

i gave up on building a A64 system , no time to wait any longer so.. these are the options


mobo : ASUS A7N8X-E DELUXE
cpu : AMD Sempron 2600 or 2800 BOX
hd : maxtor diamond 9 120GB ATA133
ram : 1.5GB RAM (3 sticks of spectek DDR pc3200 512Mb RAM - P64M6416HHC)
tower : standard with 450W psu
video : Albatron FX5700 EP

OR

mobo : Albatron KM18G Pro DCh400/Video+TV+AGP8x/5.1/lan
cpu : AMD Sempron 2600 or 2800 BOX
hd : Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 120 Gb ATA133
ram : 1.5GB RAM (3 sticks of spectek DDR pc3200 512Mb RAM - P64M6416HHC)
tower: standard with 450W psu
video : could use the onboard video and wait to get something better

What do you think of the components?, is spectek ram good?, i read it's from micron which is good, but i'm not sure. anyway, it's the cheapest i found at U$s90(512mb) , the next in price is geil value at U$s140 here.

not sure if you feel like it at all, but a mobile athlon xp will cost about the same as the sempron if you add a cheap hsf, and will most likely be able to overclock much more. Also, if you dont feel like overclocking, it should still be faster at the stock frequency than the sempron, as the sempron has a higher rating for a given core/clock.

i don't know anything about mobile xp but i'll take a look at it, maybe i could also get a t-bred or a barton, because the sempron has the worst of each of the two, only 256Kb cache like the t-bred and lower clock speed like the bartons. but it's getting difficult to find them because they are shipping all sempron now.
