New SUV from KIA

Wonder why the url of this site contains Toyota Celica even when the article is not about a Celica. 😕

that doesnt even pretend to look nice. The only suv out there right now that even comes close to looking good is the nissan pathfinder.... and kia's aren't *that* bad.... i have a freind how has one and it has run perfectly for him. ( i still wouldnt drive one though)

The Pathfinder looks like a piece of sh!t. The best looking SUV's out there are the Grand Cherokee, the first gen Xterras, and the SUV wannabe X5

sorta... very japanese looking. those prices are something like $22K to $33K. of course cars are much more expensive in the UK, so much so you can just change the pound sign to a dollar sign and you'll be in the ballpark. at least, that was my experience when looking at fords there.

<< and the SUV wannabe X5 >>

its more SUV than the new honda or the MDX... at least the X5 is RWD. of course, they're all station wagons. the grand cherokee looks awesome, like an SUV should. wonder what mercedes is going to do to it? hope they don't screw it up. i think the new exploders look very good too. not so much of the weird funkiness that is going on in the SUV word (vehicross, anyone?)

Some pics

Two people I know own Sportages (including my parents) and they are sucktacular. The Sorento looks better than the Sportage, though, and hopefully it will have better power too. I think Kia is also redesigning the Sportage soon as well.

No it ain't. BMW doesn't even call it an SUV b/c its strictly an on-road/foul weather machine.
