Thanks for all the positive feedback, Greg brought this up to me and I thought it would be a good addition / resource for our TeAm.
As some of you may know I run the internet hosting for http://smokeball.gygabyte.com (also known as http://gygabite.com/smokeball),
so I have the freedom to put things like this online.
Greg sent me some scripts and a logo that I modified for our use, tested, optimized, tested and after about 24 hours of burn in time we decided it was working well enough to use.
There are some further modifications to make, I have to confess that I am passable at html & ColdFusion but have little experience doing CGI.
This was set up for UNIX and I run an NT server, so I had to make some changes there too.
I know that sometimes it takes a long time to run, for comparison you should load the team page from S@H and see if that also takes a long time.
If their server is running slow and this program is fetching that data then it will compound the latency effect.
Also there is the fact that the page is about 700K in size due to the large number of memebers on our team. Over a slow connection, receiving 3.5K / second this could easily take 200 + seconds just to receive the html. I just loaded the Berkley stats page and it took 80 seconds over my Cable modem.

I agree that splitting up the table would help, that way there would be something to look at while the rest is loading. Right now I am not sure how to do this. If there is someone really adept at CGI / PERL who wants to look at it just PM or email me.

It seems we have 'doubleteamed' on a few assimilations, and of course I will always remember it was you who recruited me!
Smokeball has mentioned to me in the past that it was the fact that I stuck with him and helped him through a very gnarly technical problem that convinced him to join the team. However he probably would not have been looking here if it were not for Assim1's effort.
That's what teamwork is all about, we need more of same and for those who have been doing it not to lose heart. It's your effort that makes this a truly great team.

hmmm it takes like a few secs at least 5 secs to load the thing on my 56k modem but other then that i notice at the end of the page.
515 : 1579 the first set of numbers "515" are ppl that putting out wus while the rest does nothing..... man just think of the wu this team can put out if all these ppl were doing wu's... I say this team does very well with just 515 ppl crazed out eh... unless i missunderstand thoes numbers!

The numbers are a little higher if you look at more than just one day. In the last week we had 608 people turn in at least 1 WU or more.
We currently have 116 members who have never turned in a Work Unit.
1,370 did not turn in a Work Unit last week but have turned in WUs in the past. And of course their historic production is counted in our total production.

Yeah thats why i said i was not sure on the numbers but it would still be nice to have everyone doing wus if not just one a day we can move up much faster. i notice you have us down never overtaking some of them top teams....thats kinda suck but there do put out way to much haha just if the team does it all together we stand more of a chance getting to them thats all eh! I'm back got my PIII-S 1266 on it now will have my athlons later this week or next.... should put out a few wu a day for the team eh!

well there are some crazee and confused network(man)ed peeps smokeballing some wu's in here. of course some just conjour up some sunrays2be and runaround like a freewolf. others will (i)jump on a rusty nail and engineer some way to assimilat(or1) a few wu's. then there is the agentofevil with a silverbullet trying to snipes some oldgeezer in the federation. all this is happening while mofunk is talking *bleep* out of the bigwoofers. ---around here you just never know😛 😛
