That's 'cuz you're a twit who can't handle a paradigm shift. I'm actually glad that I didn't watch the original series, so that I don't have the baggage of trying to compare the two. On its own, this is by far the best sci-fi show that has been on TV in quite some time.

I only read a few Star Wars books and that was LONG time ago. I dunno which part would make a good "series," but I can't wait to see what will happen.

I really think they should put a lot of money into this series. If they really had top of the line effects/actors/writing and everything this series would make back 10x the money they spent on it in no time.

TV is such crap right now, so i'm just being hopeful that it will be good. They'll probably just half-ass it though and have crappy animation work.
 
It would cover the 20 years in the life of Luke Skywalker growing up that remains a mystery to most film-goers.

lost and invasion are both great shows, and have great effects. now granted, the effects are not used as much as a star wars series would require, but it wouldn't be hard to have good effects. the script will make or break it i guess, as will the actors and the directors ability to put everything together.
 
by the way where can i addition for the TV series? Sounds like a fun job, i'll play any role, even a bantha wookie or something 😛 (I'm not crazy familiar with SW)
