(If you didn't bother to notice, coupon codes are not permitted on Anandtech, except for those which have been approved by a Moderator, which has happened once, as I recall. All coupons are banned, but Staples coupons in particular are even more troubling around here.)
 
I really don't see what the bid deal is with posting coupon codes. I mean it saves us money sites like techbargains have codes..y not here? Anyway thx for the code man.
 
First, the Moderators tooks away Staples coupons.....and I said nothing.

Then, moderators took away site links in sigs....and I said nothing.

Then moderators banned the word Techbargains.c0m, and I said nothing.

Then, moderators took away me....and their was no one left to speak for me.
 
i believe that numerous companies came to anand with a law suit or the like. i think they were forced to unless they wanted to get dirty.
 
Thanks for the new code but you really should edit your post. I am suprised the mods have not jumped you yet. Must be their dinner time.

Last summer there was a big news story about Staples and the online bargains people were getting. Staples was getting a bit ticked off when people were making up some major $$$ off coupons and also stacking coupons was real easy. CNN had a news story about it also. I must say those were the days, Staples coupon stacking and Office Depote's 155% pricematch policy.

Why do you care so much if this new member is posting a coupon code. It's a "hot deal" in my opinion, and he's only trying to help us out.
