To expand upon RossMAN:
Anandtech and its mods are nervous about getting involved in coupon related "deals" that are at times fraudulent. They felt the site was open to litigation for facilitating these activities. So, some time ago when coupon code deals were rampant and online stores were threatening many sites, Anandtech called a halt to it. That meant not allowing *any* codes to be posted. Hope that helps.
