New Sprint Commercial

I'm sitting here in a hotel lobby, watching tv...this new sprint commercial comes on. Has anyone seen this commercial? The narrator is talking about when you were a kid, imagining a screen that would entertain you and lead you home etc...anyway, the cool thing about this commercial is the lighting? You can see vague images of people and vivid streams of light around them. How was this commercial made?

EDIT: JUST saw another one of their commercial where a woman is making the face of a clock. I think I've seen this done before in a picture...but not a video...

its alright. i didnt think it was great....
the com was made using frame by frame animation. people were actually holding the lights

How would the light make the shapes though? It would take a ridiculous amount of frames to make a circle like that...
