Oh, you thought I was serious. No, you're MUCH MUCH better off with the altec lansing. They're not a bad brand, but I personally prefer logitechs.

I'd personally recommend anything by logitech in the $50-$100 range, just generally read about better audio quality with them than anyone else.

If you want premium sound, get the Logitech Z-5500 Digital. They cost a lot more though, $300 would be a bargain for those. (they retail for ~$400)

AHH JOKES, i get jokes. Anyways yes Altec is a reputable company from my understanding. and those speakers looked crappy, just was being humble, thought I could be wrong, yeah im not heavily into speakers, but i thought those were good for a boxing day sale, 150 to 50$ thx for the responses, oh yeah do i need a sound card or can it run off my mobo sound???

I got logitech z5300s and they are amazing. I couldn't be happier with the way they sound. Only problem is there $150.
