Enterprise would work for me.

Actually, they'll probably sell the naming rights to Nike or Coke or someone.

They didn't specify that it had to be operational. They just said it had to be a Space Shuttle. The Enterprise was a Space Shuttle, used for testing. Just like the early Apollo craft that never left the ground.
 
Hopefully whatever we next build will be manufactured in such great numbers that we don't even bother to name them, just give them tail numbers like airliners.
