Other then butters creamy goo wtf was this episode suppose to be about or was it just about the ref issue?

I suppose it could had been to do about the pussification of kids sports but don't see why to bring that up now.

I mean the butters part is awesome as always and it making fun of the 5 hour energy drink but other then that it was very horrible.

Oh yeahhhh....it was really AWESOME! It was probably the funniest thing that was ever put on TV. You know what they should do? Just show that episode on its own dedicated channel 24/7, and they would get 18 billion viewers---all the people on Earth, and the rest would be extra-terrestrials drawn to our planet from this comedy gold.

I think that's it. Overall, I've never enjoyed the sports episodes that much. This one wasn't horrible though. Not great but not horrible. The whole Butter's sports drink thing was hilarious.
 
I just saw it. What a piece of crap episode. You would think that after the mid season break, they would open with a stronger episode than that.

I agree. For the last 5+ years it's really been more miss than hit with this show, and when it's a miss it's hard for me to even finish an episode. I was excited when I heard there would be an episode on the referee situation but this was a miss and a half. The Butters cum thing was a little much as well but even without that it just felt dumb.
 
I started watching this episode and thought to myself "This is what ATOT would look like if it was on TV".

Well done South Park, well done.

But then I realized we still had SandEagle and amdhunter. I am still sad.
