new soundcard, it stinks!!!

Hi. I just equiped my computer with new sound card. Appereantly, I can't listen to music loud because my speakers start to make weird high pitch sound. It works fine with my headset. I have onboard audio and i think it is even better than my new ONE!(some c-media hd). any ideas?
 
Probably some electrical interference from somewhere. What kind of speakers are you using? Creative cards aren't exactly known for their high end audio quality.
