Okay, it seems it really does not have anything new except the analog connectors -no on board decoder. So when the marketing hooey talks about using a "digital ready" receiver it is actually a novel use in that it would only be able to use multiple channels in simulated surround mode handled by the EMU where Dolby Pro-Logic was not available on the source. It's weird that they would get Dolby certified for upmixing stereo to six channels because it can only give DD a bad rap. I'm still not seeing the advantage.
