blatant fanboyism.

sure you can say that by specs and the little amount of reviews we have, but nothing is firm in terms of a true review of the car.

LOL fanboyism? I never miss the opportunity to belittle the manliness of a miata, but it will be a better car than the solstice. Mazda has been tweaking it for more than a decade, not to mention the fact it's a far superior name for quality than Pontiac. There's simply no way the solstice will be better, except in purely subjective measures like appearance (which I agree is much better and less fruity).

You are wrong, plain and simple. I dislike GM but I still know that their quality is not bad at all.

GM is way ahead of Mazda in terms of dependability and initial quality.

That's why I said not so bad, and GM on average is way ahead of Mazda.

im amazed i actually got support on that one. seeing as how most ppl hate gm on here and will just blatanly blast them when in all honesty they are one of the top quality, might not be feel quality, but in terms of car build quality they are up in the top.

id go with a g35 or the 350z, both are the same platform motorwise, but i like the g35 styling better.

I used to prefer the G35 coupe, but the 350z has grown on me. (I drove my dad's G35C to work today and left him to drive my Altima 😀)

And, the G35 platform is slightly lengthened (it's a bigger car), but besides that the platform & engine are the same.

Edit: I'd go with the 350z.

id get a solstice, looks sweet and 10-15k cheaper.
the 350z has more performance but it is a slow performance car.
also you want a convertible, it's all about style here and the solstice kills the 350z on this.

If you're looking at the Pontiac, why not the Saturn one? I thought it looked pretty cool and I'm guessing it'd be pretty cheap...

1st year american car? Yeah, right, good luck w/ that.

The Z looks better every time I see it. The back side is niiice.

It looks like a woman with a fat ass. The Z is too heavy and ungainly.
