This is what I have
Radeon X1950GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16
Core 2 Duo E6550 Conroe 2.33GHz
OCZ Platinum Revision 2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800
ABIT IL9 Pro LGA 775 Intel 945P ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
Thermaltake Purepower W0100RU ATX 12V 2.0 500W Power Supply
I put everything together and nothing. Fans spin, HD and DVDROM spins but that about it, no video. Then I unplug everything but the CPU, memory, and video card, again, nothing. I take the PCIE video card out and stick in an old PCI test video card I have, nothing. I take the parts out of the case and bench test them, nothing. I try another 20pin PS I had and nothing again. I take out the memory, no change. I reseat the CPU and memory, nothing. I haven't been able to get video with two different video cards.
I tried the PS on another system and it worked. The video card, CPU, and memory I can not try on any other system since most of my rigs are older sockets and VGA. Any suggestions?
I have checked the standoffs in the case and other little things and could not find anything wrong. The HD and DVDROM are from my older system (currently using) and they worked before and after being tried in the new rig.
