But now I also want to invest in an SSD but I don't know to take 1 for Windows and Linux or buy 2. One for each system.
Which one do you guys suggest? What about the pagefiles and Swap? Now they are on different Partitions and on different disks.
Also this question because of reading issues with Sata Controller on the Asus Mobo and some Sata 600 SSD's.

It depends on your demands, the size, and what they do. You won't want to partition a 60GB drive in half, since windows gets to be around 28GB as is. So you'll probably want a 120GB if you're going to partition, or 2 60+GB if you're doing separate drives. If you are getting one, I'd recommend Intel's 320 series 120GB, if not I'd recommend a couple OCZ Solid 3's.

The Intel 320 is the one I have the most interests for. It has powerfailure backup, which I think is not a luxury.
On the other hand, on paper, the 320 is not that fast but the price is pretty high.
Does my 'Marvell® PCIe 9120 controller' handles well with SSD?

You shouldn't even need a PCIe card. What is wrong with plugging it into a SATA port on the motherboard?

in the Specs of my motherboard I find that the Sata 600 Controller is the Marvell PCIe 9120 controller.

Intel® P67(B3) chipset :
2 x SATA 6Gb/s port(s), gray
4 x SATA 3Gb/s port(s), blue
Support Raid 0, 1, 5, 10
Marvell® PCIe SATA 6Gb/s controller :
2 x SATA 6Gb/s port(s), navy blue
JMicron® JMB362 controller : *2

Don't use the Marvell or JMicron ports while you still have Intel ports free. The Intel controller is much better.

People on a Belgian forum advice me the Crucial C300 or the Vertex3 but It cost me just a little to much.
Or is it worthed to spend that little more? And yes I did read the SSD topic but I like to here personal recommendation.

So the Intel 320 is a good choice? Can someone tell me which one of these 3 would be the best?
The 80GB has got a better write score, or is this not 'feel-able' in real live?

It's like this, I know that any SSD will perform better than my Spinpoints F3. But I would like the best value for money (is that not what the most off us want) today. Not tomorrow, tomorrow there will be something new, so...

*Intel® 320series 2,5" SSD 120 GB
Light-Retail, SATA 300, SSDSA2CW120G310
120 GB
270 / 130 MB/s
€ 194,90*

*Intel® SSDSA2CW080G3K5
Light-Retail, 320series
80 GB
270 / 220 MB/s
€ 157,90*

*Intel® SSDSA2CW120G3K5
Light-Retail, 320series
120 GB
270 / 130 MB/s
€ 199,90*

If I put this on my Intel Sata 6, would I get the max speed? Or would the Sata 3 do just fine?

The write speed of the 80GB drive is almost certainly a mistake on the website's part. It should be around 90Mb/s. I'd go ahead and get the 120GB version, though they are all good drives. The Intel 320 series is 3Gb/s only, so it doesn't matter if you use a SATA 3Gb/s or SATA 6Gb/s port, they will both operate at 3Gb/s.

Okay,

I just ordered the 120Gb Intel SSD. Just have to wait a until next week to receive the package.
But I still have one practical question, Hope I don't make this thread to long.

Question: Now I have 2 Spinpoint F3's with 1Tb. Both have a System on it.
Now, If I mount the SSD, first of all, do I have to hook the SSD on the first Sata port? In my case it would be SATA3_G3
This port is currently in use by the F3 with Windows 7 on it.
check printscreen from my Bios: https://skydrive.live.com/redir.aspx?cid=514eb336d99e9980&page=play&resid=514EB336D99E9980!105

So, if yes, I just move all the components one port up? So that port G3 comes free for the SSD?

Do I have to remove, delete format the HHD with Win7 on it? I don't like conflict with multiple (same) Osystems.

After done all this it is just formatting the SSD and install Windows 7, right?

No worries, I'm here to answer your questions. :) If the thread was too long, I wouldn't post in it!

You can plug the SSD into any port you want. After you plug it in, just go to the boot order screen (may be a different menu than the one in your screenshot) and put the SSD as the first drive in the list. Then you can install Windows as normal.

Oh, one gotcha is that Windows 7 sometimes puts its bootloader on a different drive than the one you're installing to (very stupid, I know). This can lead to a non-boot situation if you ever change your drive config. To get around that, I recommend temporarily unplugging the other drives during the initial install. You can hook them back up after that.
